Club in a former slaughterhouse in Slakthusområdet since 2010: three floors, room for 950, Friday and Saturday 22:00–03:00.
Slakthuset opened in 2010 in a former slaughterhouse in Slakthusområdet, the old meatpacking district south of Södermalm. It has 1,000 square metres over three floors, three dance floors and room for 950 people, plus a rooftop terrace in summer. The programme moves between techno, house, disco, trance and eurodance, with the odd gabber night.
It opens on Friday and Saturday from 22:00 to 03:00, though times can shift by event. Some nights are free with a registered ticket, such as the 2000s hits nights with techno and house in room 2, while bookings such as Djuma Soundsystem sell in advance. Globen metro is about 300 metres away. Not for you if you want to stay out past 03:00.
Tickets per event, some free with registration; check each event, as times shift.
