Shunter opened in 2026 in a former Dutch Railways maintenance hall next to Rotterdam Zuid station, with tracks still running through the site. It is run by the team behind the POING club, which closed in 2024, together with partners from the art world.
Nights here are programmed as weekends rather than single club nights. The September 2026 W003 weekend ran from Friday evening to Sunday night for €25, with deep techno and house, live acts and an art installation that changed over the three days. In good weather there is an outdoor garden between the tracks. Not for you if you want a club you can drop into any Saturday.
