Sass Music Club sits on Karlsplatz, the city's busiest interchange, with three U-Bahn lines under the door. Inside, gold leaf and thousands of crystals form the light installation over the floor, and the sound system is one of the better ones in the centre. The programme is electronic, with local and visiting DJs.
Nights run Thursday and Friday from 23:00 to 06:00 and Saturday from 23:00 to 05:00. Then the doors open again on Sunday from 06:00 to 11:00 for the afterhour. Entry is 18+, with ID and bag checks. Not for you if you want guitars or a quiet drink; this is a club built around the sound.
