San Remo is a small, cosy pub that Visit Enschede calls one of the oldest bars in Enschede. It pours draught and specialty beers and serves house wine in terracotta jugs. Visit Enschede's September 2026 student guide names it, with Café Friends and 't Gat in de Markt, as a bar with student prices.
It is open on four evenings only: Monday 21:00 to 01:00 and Tuesday to Thursday 20:00 to 01:00. On Friday and Saturday it is closed to the public and rented out for private parties. Not for you if you go out at the weekend: the doors are shut to walk-ins from Friday to Sunday.
