Sala X has been running since 2014, and its promoter calls it a reference venue for southern Europe. It describes itself as a concert hall, dance club and theatre, and the programme is mostly indie, rock and punk: Gutalax, Francisca Valenzuela and Temples are on the autumn 2026 calendar. After the bands, DJs take over.
It sits on Calle José Díaz in the Macarena district, about a kilometre north of the Alameda de Hércules, next door to Sala Even. Concerts start around 21:00 and tickets cost €15–32. Not for you if you want a polished club: it is a working rock room with a dance floor.
