Sala Azkena is a live room and late bar on Ibáñez de Bilbao, a short walk from Abando metro, with space for about 400 people. The bookings lean towards rock, indie, soul, folk and metal: Blood Red Shoes, Hermano Salvaje and Anabel Lee all play in autumn 2026, with tickets from about €10 to €27.
It opens from 15:00 to 23:00 Monday to Thursday and from 18:00 to 05:30 on Friday and Saturday. On gig nights the doors are usually at 21:00 and the band is on at 21:30. Outside concerts there is no cover charge, and the crowd tends to be over 25. Not for you if you want reggaeton or chart hits.
