Ruby

Ruby opened on Nybrogade on 21 June 2007 and is still one of the bars the Copenhagen cocktail scene is measured by. It faces the canal opposite Slotsholmen, two minutes from Gammel Strand metro, and opens from late afternoon until 01:00 in the week and 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.

The minimum age is 21, stricter than most bars in town, and groups can book ahead by email or phone. It is the natural first stop before a concert at Jazzhus Montmartre or a club night on Axeltorv. Not for you if you want a loud bar with a DJ: Ruby is a room for conversation.
