R2, now branded simply Le Rooftop, sits on top of the Terrasses du Port shopping centre at 9 quai du Lazaret, in the Joliette district. It opened in 2015, reopened for its tenth season on 18 April 2025 with new decor, and calls itself a panoramic club between sky and sea. You get a sunset over the harbour, creative cocktails, food such as pinsa and grilled cheese, and themed DJ nights.
Saturday nights run from 19:00 to 02:00, with themed nights at €10–15 on Shotgun, including a Halloween run from 30 October to 1 November 2026. The door is 18+, checks physical ID and asks for smart dress, and a validated ticket gets you €9 parking at the Indigo car park. Not for you if you want underground music: the sound is hip-hop, afrobeat and commercial.
Smart dress is required and ID is checked: bring the physical card, because a photo on your phone is not accepted.
