Pumpehuset

Pumpehuset takes its name from the pumping station it occupies on Studiestræde, a few minutes from Rådhuspladsen. Inside are two stages, Kransalen and Sort Sal. Outside is Byhaven, a city garden that opens daily from 15:00 in summer with free entry, beer, natural wine, cocktails and gyros.

The programme covers concerts across modern urban music and subcultures, from Latin rock to pop, with tickets around 285–380 kr (€38–51) for touring names. It is a good early-evening plan before the bars on Vesterbrogade or the clubs around Axeltorv. Not for you if you want a club night: Pumpehuset is about the show.
