Pivana is a beer hall at Ilica 222 on a former brewery site, with a dark interior, high tables, large bars and a stage for live music. A big terrace opens in warmer months. The beer comes from the neighbouring Zagreb brewery, led by the unfiltered Pivana beer, and some tables have a tap in the middle so groups can pour their own.
The menu is a simple beer-house list of ribs, sausages, steaks and burgers. It opens early, from 07:00 on weekdays, and closes at 00:00 from Monday to Wednesday, at 02:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 22:00 on Sunday. Not for you if you want a craft list: the choice is limited to one brewery, and Ilica 222 is well out along the street from Cvjetni trg.
