De Waterkant LGBTQ+ club open Friday and Saturday 21:00 to 04:00: DJs, drag performances and themed parties, funky house to disco, R100 entry at the door.
Pink Candy Night Club is at 120 Strand Street in De Waterkant and was formerly called the Pink Panther Social Club. TravelGay describes it as mostly a dance club with a bar, dancing and some live music, with a mixed and mostly young crowd. Time Out placed it on its July 2026 list of the world's greatest LGBTQ+ nightlife spots, citing DJs, drag performances and themed parties on a busy dance floor. Cape Tourism lists funky house, techno, disco and commercial hits.
It opens on Fridays and Saturdays from 21:00 to 04:00 and is closed Monday to Thursday and Sunday (TravelGay). Entry is paid at the door: TravelGay lists R100, and Cape Tourism says drinks are cheap without giving a door figure. Expect a full pat-down and bag check, and note that it is a smoking venue.
