Pharmarium is on Stortorget, the square at the heart of Gamla Stan, in a building linked to one of Sweden's earliest pharmacies. The bar takes the theme seriously: wood-clad rooms, an apothecary look and a menu that gives mixology and food equal weight, with snacks such as charcuterie and oysters.
It opens every day: 16:00–23:00 on Monday and Tuesday, until midnight on Wednesday and Thursday, 15:00–01:00 on Friday and Saturday and 17:00–23:00 on Sunday. Gamla Stan metro is about five minutes away on foot. It is one of the most celebrated cocktail bars in the city. Not for you if you want to stay out in the old town past 01:00.
