Peruke & Periwig is a Georgian-styled cocktail bar over three floors at 31 Dawson Street, near St Stephen's Green. The ground floor is a bar for pints and cocktails; the first and second floors are lounges with velvet seating, candlelit tables and gilt-framed portraits. Time Out singled out the mirrored bar and the old wigs on display.
It opens at 17:00 from Monday to Wednesday, 16:00 on Thursday and 15:00 from Friday to Sunday. It closes at 23:30 early in the week, 01:00 on Thursday, 02:00 on Friday and Saturday and 23:00 on Sunday. Tables can be booked online. Not for you if you want a dance floor: it is a place to sit and talk.
