Pérola Negra was a well-known sex club on Rua de Gonçalo Cristóvão before it reopened as a nightclub, and it kept both the name and the decor. Early in the night the music leans nostalgic; later, as a younger crowd arrives, it moves to house and disco. Autumn 2026 bookings include Massimiliano Pagliara and DJ Masda.
It opens Friday to Sunday from midnight to 06:00, and tickets cost about €10. Some recent nights have been 21+, and the club states that hate, homophobia, racism and disrespect are not tolerated on its floor. It is north of the Baixa bar streets, so plan the walk. Not for you if you want a big room: it is intimate, and the decor is part of the deal.
