Two-and-a-half-storey club on Broadway, reopened in 2025 with Kevin Saunderson: techno and house, Fri–Sat 21:30–03:00, $25, 21+.
Paragon opened in 2022 at 990 Broadway, on the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy, started by John Barclay of Bossa Nova Civic Club. It calls itself a two-and-a-half-storey mini mega-club built from stainless steel and mirror: a ground-floor bar, a checkered dancefloor and a mezzanine with glass balustrades that holds the DJ booth.
It closed in April 2025 for financial reasons and reopened that August with the Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson as a partner and resident. Weekend nights run from 21:30 to 03:00 at $25, with bookings such as Ultra Naté and The Carry Nation in October 2026. The door is 21+ and wants you dressed up. Not for you if you want a long night: it finishes earlier than most Brooklyn clubs.
21+; arrive early to avoid the line, and dress up: the dress code is enforced.
