Paradiso hides behind the fridge door of a small pastrami bar on Carrer de Rera Palau, at the edge of El Born. It was named the best bar in the world in 2022 and was fourth on the same list in 2025, which explains the queue. The drinks are elaborate house creations, and the room behind the fridge is nothing like the sandwich counter in front.
There are no bookings. Scan the QR code at the door to join the virtual queue, then wait nearby. Signature cocktails cost around €10–15. It opens in the late afternoon and closes at 02:30, or 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. Not for you if you want to walk straight in on a Saturday night.
