Panama sits in a century-old building on the Oostelijke Handelskade, on the water in the eastern docklands. It is open every Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 05:00, with two rooms, a smoking area and a sound system built for both.

The music policy is broad: techno and house, trance and hardstyle, urban and amapiano, and themed Latin and reggaeton nights, plus daytime weekender parties on some Sundays. VIP tables are available, and the dress code is casual-chic. During the week the building hosts fashion shows, conferences and weddings. Not for you if you want one underground sound, so check the night before you go.
