Art Deco cultural centre in Žižkov from 1927, with indie, folk and world music gigs in the middle of the pub district.

Palác Akropolis is the cultural centre of Žižkov: an inter-war building from 1927 with Art Deco details, a theatre hall, a restaurant, a bar and a café. It programmes independent music, theatre and visual art, and the main hall is where touring indie, folk and world music acts play when they come to Prague.

The box office in the café opens an hour before each show, and tickets sell online through the venue and GoOut. When the gig ends you are on Kubelíkova, in the middle of Žižkov's bar streets, so the night rarely stops here. Not for you if you want a dance floor that runs to 06:00; this is a gig first and a club second.
