Ötkert

Ötkert is the downtown choice for people who want a club that feels finished. It sits in a restored 19th-century building on Zrínyi utca, a few steps from the Gresham Palace, with five DJs across two rooms playing commercial music, R&B and hip-hop. The courtyard has outdoor heating, so it stays in use through the winter.

It opens Thursday to Saturday from 23:00 to 05:00, and signature cocktails cost 4,500–5,000 Ft. The door is the main obstacle: Ötkert's bouncers have a reputation, so arrive in a small group rather than a crowd. Not for you if you want underground music or a relaxed door; for that, cross town to Toldi Klub or Turbina.
