Opera Bar is on the Lower Concourse at Bennelong Point, beside the Sydney Opera House, with tables facing the Harbour Bridge. Time Out's October 2026 guide lists it as walk-in only, and its June 2026 live-music guide notes live music through the week with no entry fee. An older review, dated 2015, gives 11:30 until late every day and puts pub staples at about A$30.
It is the obvious first stop for a harbour sunset. Not for you if you want a guaranteed table. The bar is walk-in only, so arrive early on a busy night.
