Olé Olé Bar has been on Langstrasse since 1967, long enough to have watched Kreis 4 change from a district known for drugs and sex work into the city's main bar street. It started as a biker bar and now draws a mixed crowd of students, bankers, locals and visitors, with a jukebox and a cash machine inside.
It opens every day from 17:00 to 04:00, which makes it an easy first and last stop on a Langstrasse night. Gonzo is across the street, and Plaza is at the southern end of Langstrasse. Not for you if you want a quiet cocktail: it is loud, busy and unpolished.
