Old Crow is a small spirits bar on Schwanengasse in the old town, co-founded by a former Widder Bar manager. The collection runs to more than 1,700 bottles, heavy on single malt, bourbon and Irish whiskey, lined up behind the bar in a room of dark wood and candlelight. The menu adds signature and classic cocktails, and some bottlings are only poured here.
It opens from Tuesday to Saturday, 17:00 to 00:30, and takes no reservations. The bartenders look after newcomers as well as collectors. Not for you if you want a loud bar or a big group table: it is built for a few people and a long conversation.
Walk-in only, no reservations; small room, so come in twos or threes.
