Odonien

Odonien is the work of Odo Rumpf, a mechanical engineer and metal sculptor who was offered an old railway yard on Hornstraße, on the Nippes side of Ehrenfeld. His rust-brown sculptures, built from industrial scrap, fill the grounds, and Odonien calls itself the largest sociocultural venue of Cologne's independent scene: club, open-air studio, festival site and workshop in one.

Club nights start at 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, and Resident Advisor lists them until 07:00, 18+; a February 2027 night is priced at €20. In summer there is a beer garden and open-air cinema, and the Robodonien festival brings robot art and music. The nearest station is Köln-Nippes on the S6 and S11, about 500 metres away. Not for you if you want a polished club: this is raw and a little strange.
