Northern Monk's taproom in a Grade II-listed former flax store in Holbeck, with 16 keg and 4 cask lines and a beer garden.
The Northern Monk Refectory is the Leeds brewery's taproom, in the Old Flax Store at Marshall's Mill in Holbeck, south of the city centre. The Grade II-listed building is also where the brewery started. The bar runs 16 keg and 4 cask lines of fresh Northern Monk beer and guest pours, and the beer garden hosts DJs and events.
It opens 16:00–22:00 on Tuesday, 12:00–22:00 on Wednesday and Thursday, 12:00–23:00 on Friday and Saturday and 12:00–21:00 on Sunday, and it is closed on Monday. Brewery tours run at the weekend, and children are welcome until 21:00. Not for you if you want a late night: it closes by 23:00, so move on to Mint Warehouse or the centre.
