Nice N Sleazy has been on Sauchiehall Street since 1991, and it is the city's best-known indie dive bar. Upstairs is a long bar with regular drinks offers, including the White and Black Russians it is known for. Downstairs is a small, scruffy room for local bands, touring acts and club nights; Songkick lists more than 1,700 past concerts here.
The bar opens at noon, 13:00 on Sunday, and closes at 03:00, and DJs play every weekend until then. Basement club nights run from 23:00 to 03:00 for around £6 and are 18+. Not for you if you want cocktails or a dress code: it is loud, sticky and proud of it.
