NAR

NAR, also known as NAR Café der Kunsten, is on Nijverheidsweg in the Werkspoorkwartier and describes itself as a club, stage, bar, restaurant, gallery and garden in one. The programme runs from club nights and live gigs to art exhibitions, film, dance and theatre, and the venue helps organisers of any age put on their own events. Food, local craft beer and cocktails come with it.

Resident Advisor lists it among Utrecht's most popular clubs, next to its neighbours KABUL à GoGo and WAS., and the city's 2023 night-culture plan named it as one of the pop-up venues that host club nights. Times and prices change with each event, so check the listing first. Not for you if you want a dedicated club: it is an arts space first.
