Warhol is a night café in the Papengang, the narrow alley that links the Peperstraat with the Oosterstraat. It is where the rock crowd ends up: the music is alternative rock and pop rather than house or charts, and during Eurosonic Noorderslag in January it works as a partner venue for the festival.
It opens Monday to Saturday from 22:00 and closes at 06:00, which makes it one of the latest doors in the centre. That suits the shape of a Groningen night, which rarely ends before five.
