MYA is the large club inside the City of Arts and Sciences, part of the same complex as the L'Umbracle terrace. The space is all clean lines and multicoloured graffiti. The main room plays house, EDM and pop, and the second room, Mya Beat, switches to hip-hop, R&B and reggaeton. VIP areas look over the dancefloor and sell bottle service.
It opens every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from midnight to 07:00, depending on the season. Tickets run around €21–22, cheaper online. The door is 18+ with photo ID and asks for smart dress: no sportswear, shorts or flip-flops. There is currently no cloakroom and no re-entry. Not for you if you want an underground crowd or a booking you have heard of.
