Mr Wolf's has been running for more than 20 years and calls itself the most established small venue in central Bristol. It sits at 32 St Nicholas Street in the Old City. The music runs from acoustic and funk to punk, ska and breakbeat, and the October 2026 listings mix funk bands, dub and reggae, and a Jamiroquai tribute night.
Bands usually play from about 22:00 to midnight, then DJs take over. It opens every evening and closes at 03:00, or 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. Monday is open mic night with free entry, and other nights usually cost around £3. Not for you if you want a dance-music club: this is a bar with a stage first.
Easy door: a small cover charge on most nights, free on Mondays.
