Two-floor club off the bottom of La Rambla: techno and house in the basement, lighter music upstairs, open every night.
Moog calls itself the first techno club in Barcelona, and it has run in a narrow street off the bottom of La Rambla since 1996. The basement is the point: a low, dark room for techno and harder house, with a small upstairs floor that plays lighter, more pop-leaning sets. It opens every night of the year.
Doors are at midnight and it closes at 05:00 in the week and 06:00 on Friday and Saturday. Entry runs from €5 to €18 depending on who is playing. It is small, so a big booking means a queue outside. Not for you if you need space to dance or somewhere to sit down.
Easy door; the room is small, so expect a queue on big nights.
