Blues and roots bar by the Lys, open daily from 14:00, with concerts, jams and dance nights several times a week since 2015.

Missy Sippy opened on 6 March 2015 in Klein Turkije: a contemporary juke joint behind a centuries-old façade, near the Lys. The room is old-fashioned on purpose, with big photographs and salon corners, and the music is blues, jazz, roots and swing, from international names to local musicians.

It opens every day from 14:00. Live music is on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, sometimes Monday or Friday too, with concerts usually at 20:30 or 21:00, plus jam sessions, DJ sets and dance nights. Autumn 2026 brings Guy Davis and a Boogie Beasts tribute to R.L. Burnside. Tickets for bigger concerts go through Eventbrite. Not for you if you want electronic music or a club crowd.
