Hengelo's pop venue and the sister stage of Metropool Enschede, with concerts, club nights and a 04:00 closing time.
Metropool in Hengelo is the Hengelo stage of the regional podium that also runs the Enschede and Almelo venues. At the 2018 merger the plan was to programme broad, high-quality pop in Hengelo and dance, urban and electropop in Enschede. Mid-October 2026 shows the range: Frank Boeijen (sold out), Rondé, the metal band Firtan and the LEGENDS of ROCK tribute festival.
Club nights and late programmes run here too. Hengelo's council said in February 2026 that the venue now falls inside the inner ring, where closing time is 04:00, and that Metropool is subsidised for 2025–2028. Hengelo is the next town along from Enschede. Not for you if you want a short trip: it is a separate town, so plan the way home before you buy a ticket.
Ticketed shows and club nights; the age rule and price are set per event on metropool.nl.
