Maus Hábitos has been on the fourth floor of a building on Rua Passos Manuel since 2001, and it calls itself an artistic space, concert hall, bar, restaurant and club in one. Exhibitions run on the walls, the Vícios da Mesa pizzeria serves until late, and the monthly programme mixes bands, film screenings and tango with parties such as Hard Ass Sessions and GrooveBall.
It opens at noon from Monday to Saturday and closes at midnight early in the week, at 02:00 on Thursday and at 06:00 on Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. Time Out calls it one of the city's finest bars. Not for you if you want a dedicated dance club every night: check what is on first.
