Marius Bar is an old bistro at 2 rue Méry, at the bottom of Le Panier near the Hôtel de Ville, and three generations of locals have used it as their bar. Hugo Jurado and chef Bastien Molina have brought it back to life without losing that: pastis is still €2.50 and a draft beer €3.50, according to Time Out in October 2025.
The food is Provençal and Mediterranean with Japanese touches, served as small plates for sharing, with a daily dish at €16 and a menu that changes every day. Opening hours were not published when we checked, so look before you go. It is a short walk up from the Vieux-Port. Not for you if you want cocktails: this is a pastis-and-beer bar.
