Lisbon's best-known club, in a riverside warehouse at Santa Apolónia: three floors, a roof terrace and doors until 06:00.

Lux Frágil opened on 29 September 1998, during Expo 98, in a former warehouse on the river at Santa Apolónia. It is the club most people mean when they talk about Lisbon nightlife: three floors of electronic music, international DJs at weekends, and a terrace on the roof that looks straight over the Tagus.

Doors open at 23:00 from Thursday to Saturday and close at 06:00. Entry usually runs €10 to €20 and often includes a drink; big bookings cost more and sell online first. The door is the most selective in the city, so come in a small, mixed group and leave the sportswear at home. Not for you if you want a quick, cheap night: the queue alone can take a while.
