Loppen has been the concert room of Freetown Christiania since 1973. It is on the first floor at Sydområdet 4B and books rising names and alternative acts across rock, metal, hip-hop, electronic music, blues and jazz, with touring bands from the UK and US alongside local ones.
Tickets are cheap for the bookings: 50–299 kr (€7–40) in presale. Bigger names sell out, so buy ahead and use the waiting list if you miss out. Christianshavn metro is about ten minutes away on foot. Not for you if you want a late club: Loppen is about the band, and the rest of the night happens elsewhere.
