Traditional Deutz pub on Siegesstraße pouring Päffgen Kölsch with Halve Hahn and Cologne food, open until midnight and closed on Tuesdays.
Lommerzheim is a traditional Kölsch pub on Siegesstraße in Deutz, on the right bank of the Rhine, and some regulars call it their living room. It pours Päffgen Kölsch and serves Cologne classics such as Halve Hahn, a rye roll with a slab of year-old Gouda.
It opens at 11:00, closes from 14:30 to 16:30, then stays open until midnight, or 23:00 on Sundays and holidays. It is closed on Tuesdays. Carnival and live music are part of its year, and table bookings fill early: requests for 2027 open in mid-October 2026. It is on the same side of the river as Bootshaus, which makes it a sensible first stop. Not for you if you want cocktails.
Walk-in pub; groups should book well ahead.
