Loco Club is a live music room on Calle Erudito Orellana, just west of the old town, and the tourist board calls it a benchmark for live music in the centre. It holds about 300 people and puts on more than 200 concerts a year: international and Spanish touring acts alongside new local bands. The sound set-up is the point.
Doors open from 19:00 and the venue closes at 03:30, the usual limit for bars and music rooms in Valencia. The lounge serves pastrami sandwiches, tacos and other food. Tickets are sold per concert. Not for you if you want to dance until the morning: plan a club for after 03:30.
