Historic Rue de Lappe dance hall with salsa and rock classes followed by club nights, plus tea dances on Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Le Balajo has been on Rue de Lappe since the 1930s and still has its old dance-hall decor. Here the night often starts with a lesson: salsa classes on Tuesday and Thursday, rock on Wednesday, then the floor opens to everyone.

Friday and Saturday nights start at 23:00 and run until dawn, and there are tea dances on Sunday and Monday afternoons. Entry costs between €4 and €20. Not for you if you want cutting-edge DJs: people come here to dance with a partner, not to hear a booking.
