Cocktail bar on Karl-Heine-Straße in Plagwitz that makes its own bitters, infusions and syrups, with drinks from €6.50 to €15.
Last Word reopened in early September 2024 under the owner David Weide, on Karl-Heine-Straße in Plagwitz. The bar team, Melanie Aparicio Sanchez and Fridolin Tsuneo Hellmich, came from Rorschach, a cocktail bar that closed in the summer of 2024.
Almost everything behind the bar is made in-house: infusions, macerated spirits, syrups and bitters, including a thyme and paprika bitter you cannot buy. Some ingredients come from the area, such as feijoa leaves from the Kulkwitzer See. Cocktails cost €6.50–15. It opens Wednesday to Sunday from 19:00. Not for you on a Monday or Tuesday, when it is closed.
