La Fav is the renamed and refitted Favela Chic at 18 Rue du Faubourg du Temple, a few steps from République. It serves Franco-Italian food and cocktails from 19:30, and as the evening goes on the tables are cleared for dancing.
DJs play mainstream, house and disco from Thursday to Saturday, and it stays open until 05:00 on those nights. There is a club admission on Friday and Saturday, and a cloakroom charge. Not for you if you want an underground night: this is a party for groups who want songs they know.
