La Buvette des Quais is a bar at 17 quai des Salinières, on the riverfront by the Saint-Michel stop of trams C and D. Bar professionals placed it 95th in the French Bar Awards 2026, one of six Bordeaux bars in the national top 100, so the drinks are worth more attention than the casual name suggests.
It also hosts free DJ nights. For Halloween 2026 the Wicked crew takes over on Saturday 31 October from 22:00 to 01:40, with hard trance and acid techno, and the organisers warn that capacity is limited. Check its regular hours before you go. Not for you if you want to dance until dawn: the Halloween night ends at 01:40, hours before the clubs close.
Free entry on DJ nights, but capacity is limited, so arrive early.
