La Bamba plays Latin music and reggaeton from a street-level room at 5 Wausan-ro 19-gil, in the middle of Hongdae. It is one of the few places in the district built around Latin sounds rather than K-pop or hip-hop, and an older guide describes it as often full by midnight.
It is a short walk from Hongik University station (Line 2, Exit 9) or Sangsu station (Line 6, Exit 1). Cover and opening hours are not published, so ask at the door. Not for you if you want electronic music or a quiet drink: the room is loud and busy, and the dancing starts early.
