Korsakov, at Sint-Jorispoort 1, is half bar, half club, and one of the busiest late spots for students and locals in the old town. It runs over several levels, with graffiti on the walls and pool tables upstairs, and it is known for cheap rounds: a draught beer costs €3. There is food too, such as cauliflower wings. Its owner, Carlos Maldonado, also runs Bar Ziek.
It opens at noon every day and closes at 02:00 on Sunday and Monday, 03:00 from Tuesday to Thursday, and 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. That makes it a common last stop after the cafés, or the whole night for people who do not want a club ticket. Not for you if you want cocktails or a quiet table.
