Ghent's techno club, currently without a fixed site and preparing to reopen in the former Vynckier textile factory near Dampoort, with Friday and Saturday nights from 23:00 to 07:00.
Kompass Klub started as a pop-up in 2016 and spent years moving between temporary sites around Ghent. According to VRT in August 2026, it has no fixed location at the moment and is preparing to reopen on the Vynckier site on the Nieuwevaart, a former textile factory near Gent-Dampoort station, where the club is becoming co-owner of the building. It was named best Belgian club at the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards in 2018, and the bookings are techno, house and trance: NTO and Stephan Bodzin play in October 2026.
Nights run from 23:00 to 07:00, tickets cost €20–25 and sell through Paylogic, and the door is 18+. The house rules are short: zero tolerance for drugs, respect for the room, and a medical crew on site. Not for you if you want to walk home: it is outside the old centre, so plan a taxi.

Kompass Klub opened in 2016 in a warehouse south of central Ghent. A 2019 four-month closure order from the mayor was suspended by the Council of State, and in December 2020 the club announced it would leave the warehouse, which was being demolished. It later used the former Vynckier factory on the Nieuwevaart.
