Brewery tap room in Binckhorsthaven with 20 taps, sea-container walls and a barbecue kitchen, open Wednesday to Sunday.
Kompaan is a Hague brewery with a bar and tasting room hidden in Binckhorsthaven, built from sea containers and scaffolding wood, with a view of the harbour and the factories. Twenty taps pour Kompaan's own beers, such as Vrijbuiter, Handlanger, Bondgenoot and Bloedbroeder, plus seasonal brews and guest craft beer.
The kitchen does barbecue: brisket, pulled pork and sausages braised in Kompaan beer, from 17:00 to 22:00. It opens Wednesday to Sunday and closes at 21:00 or 23:00. Not for you if you want a late bar, but it is a strong start to a night at PIP.
Walk-in tap room; the kitchen closes at 22:00 and the bar by 23:00 at the latest.
