Rooftop garden, bar and DJ terrace on top of the Neukölln Arcaden mall, open in the warm season until 03:00 at weekends.
Klunkerkranich is a garden, bar and small club on the roof of the Neukölln Arcaden shopping centre on Karl-Marx-Straße. Getting there is part of it: take the lift at the library and post office entrance to the fifth-floor car park, then walk up to the top deck. Up there are flower boxes, wooden terraces and a wide sunset view over the rooftops.
In the main season, from mid-April to the end of September, it opens from 17:00 Monday to Wednesday and from 16:00 Thursday to Sunday, closing at 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. DJs, concerts and themed nights carry on into October. Under-18s need a parent with them after 16:00. Not for you if it is raining: most of the space is outdoors.
Some evenings are ticketed; under-18s must be with a parent after 16:00.
