Irish pub at Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 44, open daily from 12:00, with sixteen beers on tap, around a hundred whiskies and live music.
Killiwilly has been an Irish pub since 1993, in an 1856 house on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße that once housed the gatekeepers of the Zeitzer Tor. The building later held a newspaper office linked to Wilhelm Liebknecht, a post office, a pharmacy and a police station. The pub's owners bought and restored it in 2010.
It opens every day from 12:00. Sixteen beers are on tap and about a hundred whiskies line the shelves, with cocktails and long drinks as well, and live music is part of the programme. The naTo pub is next door and Absturz a few doors down. Not for you if you want something new and local: this is a classic pub.
Walk-in pub, open daily from 12:00.
