Finnieston cocktail bar and restaurant behind a restored 19th-century café sign, one of the winners at the 2025 Glasgow Bar Awards.

Kelvingrove Café opened in 2012 on Argyle Street in Finnieston, in a building that housed a café of the same name in the late 19th century. The operators uncovered and restored the original signage, and inside there is wood panelling, Chesterfield booths and a brass bar. It serves brunch, dinner and cocktails, with ice cut in-house.

It was one of the venues that topped the 2025 Glasgow Bar Awards, and in 2026 it hosted a takeover by Bar Leone, recently named the world's best bar. It opens daily from noon to 01:00. Not for you if you want a cheap pint: this is a cocktail and dining room, priced like one.
