Five clubs on five floors in a former bathhouse by Charles Bridge, with chart, oldies and dance music and a mostly tourist crowd.

Karlovy lázně bills itself as the largest club complex in Central Europe: five floors in a former bathhouse at the foot of Charles Bridge, each with its own music. The original mosaic tiles survive, and the old pools now serve as dance floors. It opens at 22:00 every night and closes at 04:00, or 05:00 on Friday and Saturday.

Be clear about what it is. The crowd is overwhelmingly visitors, many of them stag and hen groups, and the music is chart, dance, oldies and hip-hop. On those terms it is a fun night. Not for you if you want to meet locals or hear a DJ you have heard of. Entry usually sits between 250 and 350 Kč, and the ice bar charges separately.
